amcBiobind NT

amcBiobind NT membrane is a 100% pure nitrocellulose membrane, specifically designed for colony and plague lifts, plasmid screening, and blotting applications.

amcBiobind NT's carefully controlled manufacturing procedure is the secret behind these matrices' ability to provide such recovery rates for transformed bacteria.  Although it is an unsupported membrane, it has great strength providing easy handling and assures that the membrane will not become brittle and tear during the tests.

    • Prestained proteins were separated in a polyacrylamide gel and electrophoretically transferred to the indicated nitrocellulose membranes. A double layer of membrane was used, one directly against the gel, followed by the second layer. Signal intensity on the second layer is indicative of burn-through, which can lead to loss of signal.
